Have you ever had that experience where you are driving along and this tune into this great song being played and it just kinda sets your mood and goes with your whole driving experience? This is what Ulrich Schanuss is like to me. I first heard him played on WFHB in like 2005 and called the station to find out who it was. I couldn't write down the name at the time (or spell it) and only vaguely remembered how to pronounce the name. I couldn't find anything about him unfortunately. For my 30th birthday, my wife remembered the name and searched and searched until she finally found his CDs on Amazon, and bought two of them for me. Not a week goes by without this music now.
Some people are great singers because they have great control over their voice. Ulrich is a great composer because he has great control over timbre and the structure of music.
